Mrs. Jansen's second grade students became experts on informational text features and animal research! 📝 🐻🦁🐯 Students learned all about headings, captions, diagrams, and glossaries, and how these elements are used to understand nonfiction text. As animal researchers with laptops, tablets, and books, they set out to uncover fascinating facts about their chosen animals. Students transitioned from researchers to authors, as they crafted their informational books. To complete their animal research project they had the joy of sharing knowledge with Mrs. Barker's first grade students. What a fun project! 🎉 #WildRoseWildcats
